Samuel Fay Will Join Me for Summer Research

My name is Samuel Fay and I just finished up my freshman year at the University of Michigan, where I am studying computer science. I am from Laramie, and this summer I am working with Vikram with the end goal of making some sort of computational tool to aid population geneticists. I have no background in biology or genetics so this opportunity will be a good learning experience and it will let me see how I can apply computer science to other fields.

Aside from school I like to cross country ski, mountain bike, and road bike.
