Jelard Aquino receives Smithsonian Internship
Jelard Aquino, a senior undergraduate doing research with me was recently awarded a 3 month internship to work at the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute in Panama. He is currently applying his skills in bioinformatics and population genomics to analyze genome wide data from new world butterfly species. His work there is focussed on addressing contemporary issues in speciation genomics.
